NEW ENSEMBLE MEMBER

ASIA MARK (Actress/Vocalist/Photographer) is a native of Detroit, MI. A Detroit School of Arts Broadcast team member while at the Detroit School of Arts where performances included in forensics multiples such as 'The Wiz', 'Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk' and the 'Yellow Boat.' Asia is a heart and soul alum of The Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit's acting program. Upon graduation, she received Mosaic's Outstanding Artist Award and Mosaic's Leadership Award. In 2009, Asia became an NAACP Act-So National Gold Medalist for dramatics in New York. She is finishing her B.F.A in acting at the University Theatre at Western Michigan University. She has performed in A Song for Coretta (Helen), Tambourines to Glory (Laura), Ruined (Joesphine), Check Your Privilege (Nadira, Vanessa), Tony and Tina's Wedding (Connie), and Ameriville by Universes. She performed as Louise in Cane River King, the winner of the 2015 Midwest New Play Festival at the Victory Gardens Theatre.

CHRIS MANSA (Actor) is a new member of Universes from Detroit, MI.. Graduate of Western Michigan University (BFA:Acting). Previous acting credits include: UNIVERSES’ Live From The Edge; UNIVERSES’ Ameriville (directed by Steven Sapp and William "Ninja" Ruiz at Western Michigan University); Cane River King by Jeremy Llorence (directed by Mark Liermann at Victory Gardens Theatre); Fourth and Long by Jeremy Llorence (Kalamazoo Piano Company).

ENSEMBLE MEMBER

GLENN GORDON (Actor/Playwright). A member of UNIVERSES, he performed in productions of Ameriville and was a contributor for Party People. As a playwright, Gordon has written Re:Definition and received a fellowship from the New Black Fest to write Search For The Crystal Stairs.  Gordon is co-founder of the Continuum Project, Inc., which uses African Ancestry DNA testing and theatre to promote cultural identity and community healing.  In 2010, after tracing his African Ancestry, Gordon was given the name NSangou Njikam by the Bamoun/Tikar people of Cameroon. He received a B.F.A. in acting from Howard University.
